Roger Stone
2018, and still on a downward spiral caused by the fiasco that led to Ash Simpson (one of my fave illustrators, and also one if my inpsirations as an artist) blocking me over the botched sketch commish brought about by my estranged "uncle" who made a false accusation against her, I turned to Netflix and watched the documentary "Get Me Roger Stone", which detailed the life and times of political strategist (and an associate of former President Trump) Roger Stone. I figured him to be a modern-day Macchiavelli, and this was what inspired me to paint this portrait while already descending into despair.Apr 17, 2021Comments
