None of the other instances of people being hateful have escalated into anything more than drama that lasts like a day max, so I doubt this app will become the hellscape for bigotry like Twitter is. And always remember, block and report.

The stuff this person said was pretty harmless— I'm not saying they were RIGHT but they seem uneducated and like they're having a difficult time empathizing with trans people. They're not HATEFUL or anything idk I'm having a decent DM conversation with them and I'm trans, they're not spewing hate at me, just asking questions and discussing things they're confused about. I doubt I'll be able to change their feelings about it but tbh like. I don't feel unsafe with them around artfol

My biggest concern is that people overall may not stay kind or open minded. I don't know what post you're referring to, but I've alread seen some posts that were racist, anti Lgbt, anti religion, etc. Such people will always exist, especially the more people get on artfol. But as soon as the majority of users are like this, the whole platform will be unusable. Then people will get hunted down for saying the most trivial harmless stuff ever. I also hope that artfol will stay a positive place for a long time.
