Cupido's (very few) helpers usually need to carry the weight of... risking an arrow getting through their body! Sooo knowing how to dodge is a must, but if only cupido tried a little harder with his aim that'd be best.

Why does Jacob have to stay near his targets? Because otherwise Cupido's sight really sucks when aiming at humans! He needs an angel's energy to be near to have a decent eyesight for his job. (very, very inconvenient.) Think of it like a contact lens ... but your coworkers is the lens!
