Not so hot take: I like when in comics and stories things happen and there's no follow up or explanation sometimes. It feels more like actual life to me, things just happen because they do... and they are experiences the characters have that don't have to connect to the main plot specifically, but it just adds to them as people. I really like doing it with my characters as well ๐Ÿ˜Œ

They just happen to experience things that shape them up certain ways.

(sadly not great for storytelling purposes where some people want a perfect puzzle, but I don't care โœจ๏ธ) I'll let people that are better at puzzles handle those puzzles!

I love that too!!!
I've seen videos criticising this stuff with "bad writting" (I mean, sometimes done wrong, but other times done right) and it sucks :(.
I like when characters do stuff that doesn't always become part of the plot or because a whole other story n stuff.
