What are some art misconceptions you personally don´t like?
Mine are;
- «Artworks from mentally ill people are the only true works of art.» Talk about gatekeeping. Not every artist is mentally ill or even put their mental illness in their art.
- «Artist who use expensive tools makes better art». One of my friends, who does not use brand names, makes better art than I do with expensive tools.Jan 16, 2023

"You are so talented! I could never draw like that." Pisses me off sometimes. It's work, patience, problem solving, precision and imagination. Everyone can learn it if you dedicate enough time. No for real, take one or two years to learn ANYTHING and you'll be good if not almost a professional in most skills.
