Queen Summer
A Sketch I started 2 years ago in the sketchbook of my girlfriend, as some sort of intro-page (she loves sunflowers). Since then I hoarded her sketchbook because I always thought I finish soon... Until now, when it turned out I'll have to move away soon so I got my shit together, sat me down and did the work.The sketchbook itself was Marabu mixed media. Yet, personally I can't recommend if you want to work with anything water-related (gouache might work with limitations) since the paper is really quick- absorbing so you won't be able to lay down fine layers of watercolour/do washes etc.
Markers worked though the paper will drain them very quickly so be mindful of that, best thing you can do here are dry medium like pastel and pencils etc.Sep 25, 2021
