• Quick update •
I'm now completely off cortisone (which greatly helps me with energy and severe CAPS pain and cures my horrible insomnia) for that medical examination, which I have at the end of this year, so my energy levels have now reverted back to those of a run-over snail on life support
, hence even drawing a single pixel a day is once again almost mission impossible for me. But I am still trying to squeeze some ultra slow drawing practice in here and there - I am currently switching to trying to learn photobashing technique for the backgrounds by watching some tutorial videos of the background artists, which also seems to be a technique that my favourite artist in that department, Ibuki Satsuki, seems to partially use in some of her works. So yeah, hopefully I'll have some nice backgrounds to show off eventually as well in my drawings (background artists were always my fav. ones and still are, I love scenery/nature drawings the most, but sadly I never got into drawing backgrounds much myself, since I love drawing faces and expressions too much - I'm a real sucker for the eyes

And I also (depressingly) have to add that no site seems to be safe from AI/scammers nowadays ... Even the site where I'm browsing for royalty free photos for the backgrounds atm has AI images uploaded to it. Like yeah, that liquidy AI-looking purple magical forest totally exists in real world - it's totally a legit, actual photo that someone took ...

(And Gumroad is sadly also becoming infested with scammers trying to sell brushes using AI images to promote the said brushes - the latter which may also just be brushes taken from actual artists, who often even offer them for free; hoping that people won't notice that the supposed brushes that they're selling have absolutely no resemblance to that AI generated crap, which is being shown as supposedly being created with those brushes. And ofc the sellers' "artistic style" magically changes completely in every single brush pack that they are selling, because all of their "I drew this with these brushes" examples are AI generated.
Thank god I bought my brushes years ago, before the whole AI scam ... And apparently this is happening on other such sites as well. Scammers truly know no shame and AI just made it easier than ever for them.
