For me, I like making up stories for my drawings, which I think can catch people’s attention more the 2s (for composition I just use rule of third). Also having contrast (in colors or stories) can make the drawing pop, like your drawing of the menacing old lady wearing shades with cyan/red lighting

•Add a second character. It's hard to tell a story with an illustration that's just a pretty picture of one person. It can be done but creating interest is very easy when you can draw an interaction imo

Your poses are kind of tight. Even when your bodies are turned the head is always tilted downward or turned towards camera. Not a bad thing but if you want more dynamics try to stretch a little. Check out some Loomis books maybe?

I mean just looking at a few pieces on your page I find your art very interesting. I especially love the ones that play with dynamic lighting and color.
For me personally I like playing with color, line, and shape to create interest in my work.
