Among the Sky Keepers"Why don't we go back inside? This is our party, after all." Ah, I love drawing married couple. I've been wanting to draw Namur and Darsun for ages, and here I am. I want to try printing it and see if I like the result. Namur is one of the countless incarnations of the Dervish of Time, and a honorary member of the Sky Keepers, the order/group his husband Darsun comes from. Their goal is to preserve knowledge and let the truth prevail always, so they live as librarians, archeologists, war reporters, and journalists. They are spread all around the world and there are many temples they call their home. Unless they're hiding their identities, they usually wear their signature sash called nåmhgyn on their left shoulder; kids who are born among the Keepers or are raised by them wear a smaller scarf (called yərgyn) around their waist until they come of age, then they choose if they want to leave the order or become operative Keepers. The big jewelry piece on their belts, called drakhatta, is usually worn on special occasions, like parties and ceremonies, and it's made to be noisy and flashy, meaning that they are in a safe environment and they do not need to hide, run, or work. They also walk barefoot on temple ground. The Sky Keepers have members of any race and from any background, and their shared culture and fashion sense are a mix of everything there is, and it's colorful and rich and constantly evolving.Mar 14, 2022
