Reaptober 2023 - Day 28 - Bat"We're quite the BATty family here!!"
This was so hecking fun ahahaha, tbh before coming in I was quite lost on the composition I'd go for this, I knew I wanted it to have vampy vibes and to do all the 4 bat mons with her, since I already have an art of her like that and I wanted to see if I got any better in all these years drawing the little critters (the verdict is that I kinda didn't... rip). Really didn't wanna do standing there sort of thing, had a thought about her hanging from a tree upside down with the bats but eeeeh, didn't really like it. In the end I did end up going with just a standing there pose, but laying down haha.
I think it's quite cute but not too special, though was a lot of fun to draw, very happy with many little bits of this. I think this is the best Dajete ears I've done so far! Think this is how I'm gonna keep them, a nice middle ground between realistic and the mon.Pretty pleased with the kimono pattern too, something cutesy but a little unsettling if ya really look at it haha. Zubat is still my favourite out of the 4, was in the last art and is here too, he just turns out the cutest! Which mon do you think is the cutest in the art?Oct 28, 2023
