I've been reading through the Mistborn series and id recommend it if you like fantasy and interesting magic systems.

I always recommend "Piranesi" by Susanna Clarke, "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas, and "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel. Some of my favorites.

You like emotion and crying your heart out? Then you should definitely try All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
