Quick question
Do you find a logo or a drawing to be more appealing as profile pictures when you're looking for artists to follow here?
I'd like to kinda keep up my brand with my logo but also think if I put a drawing there it might draw in more peopleMay 29, 2021

Drawings are cool!! I like it when they make no sense and show the artists state of mine. (Yeah mine is included there)

I would say that a drawing is most likely better because it allows for people to see what you do quickly and also potentially multiple drawings (if your icon and posted drawing are different).
Like I love logos but sometimes they arent the most efficient for showing what information you need to get to your potential userbase :)

I personally use my paintings as I don't have any logo as of now which I like. And also paintings are just more appealing. I keep updating them as I finish a painting a love so much .

I personally use my drawings as my profile picture. It gives people a small glance at the kind of you you make which I think will help entice people to click on your account and engage

Logo’s good if you want to keep a professional yet distant vibe
If you want to be more approachable, I personally really like drawings that I then think of as the person behind the account

Honestly I think it depends whether or not the logo is legible as a smaller picture or not. I personally like using a drawing bc it’s aesthetically pleasing and it can give a tiny sample of your work? But logos may also work if it’s easily recognizable or super visually appealing, I’d say just make sure the logo comes through when scaled down C:

I had a logo but it felt kinda stiff? I wanted to have more of this "we can be friends" feeling than "This is my business"

I prefer the drawing because it’s more like... artsy? Idk lmaooo but maybe if u want u can add ur logo onto the banner thing if u still wanna show the logo... that’s what I did

•I think I prefer the drawing, it feels like I’m talking to a human, not a company.
Just my opinion
