The nostalgic trainI drew this after watching angrymikko’s video on one-point perspective.
The platforms are inspired by those in Rorschach because I like the filigree iron construction of it’s roof. The train is inspired by the Appenzellerbahn.
To make the task of training one-point perspective seem more manageable, I did not use colour and I kept it small (8x8 cm). That was the right decision as it help me jump into perspective without worrying too much about the medium (I’m quite comfortable with pens) and unnecessary detail (which cannot fit in the small drawing)
