Rivver tugged on the white sweater, the turtleneck didn’t hug the neck but still felt constricting.

“Stop fiddlin’ with it.” Her sister smacked her hand away. “Once you forget you’re wearing clothes it won’t bother you.”

“I doubt it.”

“At least it’s soft, right?”

“Very soft.” Rivver let her arm hang on her knee. “Softer than you said, how could you lie to your sister?”Jan 13, 2023
