Meet my new favourite side character of the chessassins universe, the Pawnbroker!I don’t know much about him yet, but he’s a Pawn who runs a front for the Board - and what else could this chess-themed criminal organisation choose for a cover than a pawn shop? He’s honestly pretty relieved to be relegated to a customer service role rather than having to do any fighting.
He’s a sweet, sleepy guy who is fascinated by antiques, and would really prefer if all the shady Board associates would stop coming in to scare his regulars and take up all his time with their cryptic messages, secret meetings and money laundering.May 30, 2022
