art ramble?? i guess
my comic that I'm working on actually started out a lot more action oriented.
The fantasy world was overrun by demons and the last resort for saving the world is literally the teenagers that were raised in this demon war. They had weapons and powers and it was a lot more out there and ridiculous but it was fun!
I'm honestly really tempted to go back to that. I feel like I'm trying too hard to be mature, serious and rein my story in but do you know what I really enjoy? Fantasy. Stories about magical girls. Explosive, beautiful fight scenes mixed with dark themes.
I've noticed recently that I always start to have doubts about my story. If it's good or exciting enough, and just now if I even enjoy making it.
Maybe to fully enjoy it again I need to just relax a little and go back to what 14 year old me found exciting. I might just do that.
