To ppl with long hair how do you keep them proper? Like mine are not that long yet but every time I take off my hat my hairs go in thousands of directions and when I brush them in the morning they won't stay like I brushed them not even an hour and they are going in every possible direction.
I usually have short hair but thought let's just try a little longer but bro!?!? I feel like I have a mop on my head. And not cause I'm not washing them not enough actually they get more controllable when I haven't washed them for like two days.Dec 19, 2023

If you have curly/wavy hair it's usually better to comb it while it's wet so it won't frizz too much

There is conditioner against static which also improves combing. There is a specific hair length (depending of how heavy your hair is) you need to have to not make your hair greasy. Also you will definitely need to wash it more often. Also depending on how long it is. Plus if you wash it too much it gets greasier faster.
I personally use a combing conditioner after it's beneath my shoulders. Until it's halfway down my back I will only use the cheap ones. They are weak. With longer hair because mine is heavy I need a volume shampoo and the combing conditioner. If not I will always look greasy.

•It depends on your hair type. Try using some oil or cream to put on after you wash them, it can help some hairtypes. But maybe your hair is just messy, and you just need some time to learn what its beauty is and appreciate it, and cope with the inconveniences

I brush my hair and then do pigtail Dutch braids almost every day. It keeps it tucked away in a way that doesn't interfere with my senses and it also keeps it untangled, and it looks nicely crimped whenever I take it out

idk i just brush my hair and put my hair up in a manbun in the morning. i wash ab once or twice a week (i have a skin/scalp condition and if i do more than that it flares up. at this point my hair is trained for it so it doesnt get greasy super fast.) i def suggest wearing it up in a ponytail or braid etc to keep it protected

Proper moisture stops the frizz.
I had long hair for a few yrs after covid. I was very glorious but my hair is so so thick that it took 20 minutes to wash and I have too many medical conditions to spend that long washing my hair lol.

Well my hair is down to my butt and it’s lost any sort of wave because of the length so it just kind of hangs. I usually throw it in a bun or ponytail if it’s getting in my way. The only advice I could really offer is make sure it’s well conditioned/not dry. My hair always seems to be more “wild” when it’s dry.

I have long hair (a bit lower than my shoulders). I usually just wear a hairclip if I need to do stuff, otherwise I just keep it loose, and since I don't really move when I sleep, my hair remains the same. when I wear a hat I usually brush it to the back and put the hat on. also I brush it twice a day. I think that's the only things I do with my hair

Mine is pretty long, so it’s gotten a bit more manageable mop wise (gets everywhere now though).
But I guess I’d put it as "freshly made hairstyle" and "settled into it hairstyle". I tend to wear it a while and see what it settles into, since that’s what’ll be going on for most of the day. And then pick hairstyle depending on that rather than the fancy newly done one.
If I want to keep it more together I start out tighter. Like a tighter braided braid for example (not too tight though, don’t hurt yourself).
If it’s something braided you might also have an easier time (depending on your hair type) if you braided the same style with slightly damp hair, or after washing and drying your hair. As it can just settle back into that shape you gave it.
