Erin DeMeire(He/They)(26)(Italian-American)& their demon, Sade
Erin was born in the U.S to illegal Italian immigrants. Why they fled Italy or who his parents were never revealed to Erin, as he was taken from his deported parents and raised in Saint DeMeire orphanage as 'James DeMeire'. He didn't like that name, so they changed it to Erin the summer turned eight, never responding to anything else(much to the chagrin of the mothers/staff of the orphanage)
Coincidentally, Sade - an inky demon banished from Nowhere - was living off the mold and fungai in the walls and around the orphanage.
Neither really knew about the other until Erin was sixteen and the orphanage was going to close, meaning all the kids would have to "transfer" quickly. In actuality, the orphanage was a cover up for terrible upperclass people to uphold terrible transaction (ranging from cannibalism to murder to horrific other crimes)
A week before the closing, Erin was helping one of the mothers clean out her office and found several transaction papers. Pretending to not see them, Erin finished the job and escaped to the bathroom(where they had a panic attack)
This is where Sade discovered them, crawling out of the vent and plopping on the floor by mistake. Erin covered his mouth so he wouldn't scream, but there was a lot of explanation.
Sade explained that, with the orphanage crumbling, they wouldn't be able to sustain themselves long - especially without humans around to occasionally possess.
Erin said the orphanage was going to close and they saw the transaction papers.
Then, came their deal; Sade would possess Erin(or, just live in their body, occasionally taking nutrients), and, in turn, Sade would help Erin not be another kid in the transaction.
That night, Erin escaped and told the remaining older kids (there never were a lot) about what was going down. One didn't believe him, but the others understood. After telling the older kids, Erin escaped with the younger kids(there was only four of them - two three year olds, a one year old, and one six year old).
The three year olds and one year old were easy enough to be left - Erin wrote notes to the families he left them to - but the six year old was another story. Erin didn't trust other orphanages, he didn't know how to leave an entire six year old, and Sade wasn't being helpful.
So; Erin tried a homeless shelter. Well, several. Most of them were full or wouldn't take them both. A few offered to take the six year old to an orphanage, and Erin left immediately.
There was only one who would take them both, but still offered to take the six year old to an orphanage. Erin couldn't refuse by the end of the night, they were desperate. They just wanted the girl to be safe.
They stayed at the shelter for a couple weeks, the end of their stay coming when the girl kept getting sick... and then started getting sicker... and there was nothing Erin or Sade could do to help(Sade possessing her only made the demon sick too)
It was the weakest Erin has ever felt.
So, they left, burying the girl deep in a city park, and never returned.
Something burned in Erin - anger, anxiety, sadness - they didn't know, but they couldn't stand the thought of the abuse children before and after them have gone through or were about to.
Erin asked Sade if they eat human flesh.
Sade laughed and said it was a delicacy, but it loved where Erin's thoughts were going.
A decade later, Erin & Sade are still getting rid of people they deem terrible in some form of justice, terrifying them and the world in general. now Erin has a job taking art commissions online and rents an upstairs apartment from a sweet old lady who can't see very well, but bakes the best cookies.

In their world the creepypasta fandom/stories are canon(though the characters are just fiction like here too), so the duo do have stories & fanfictions written about them.
Sade had fully latched onto Erin when the duo became partners, so Erin is fully Sade's human and cannot possess anyone else. Sade has some fun abilities - immortality until killed by another, their entire body having no bones, being able to climb on walls and be stuck in general, and, one of their favorites, possession.
Possesion just means they have full control of their human, who is conscious the entire possession - while in the picture Erin is crying, it's how their body reacts to possession. They fully trust Sade.

Both Erin and Sade love sweets (chocolate especially) and cooking. Well, Erin cooks and Sade keeps stealing food. They loves cartoons and anime and comics, online and off, wearing hoodie twice Erin's size, babysitting for their neighbors, and making sure terrible people gets what coming to them
They don't like those terrible people or getting sick or large crowds or coffee(gets Sade all zippy and zoomie)
