The rose, a symbol of lovegiven to us truly by God
nourished by water from below and sunlight from above
it's a heavenly nod
they come in several colors
all represent the warmth of spring
which without them would be duller
without color, there's no joy the world would bring.
blessed with a sweet scent
roses have gained a reputation
as they are meant
to be treated with adoration
