Outside of like, maybe very specific joke contexts, I could never imagine completely ignoring a character's flaws (yes, even if those flaws make them a bad person, or morally grey, or ANYTHING but a 100% perfect uwu cinnamon roll).
IMO you're taking away 90% of what makes a character interesting. If I don't study my favs and everything about their personality under a microscope, I will explode.
But also completely shitting on a character because they are flawed and reducing them ONLY to their flaws is also bad. (but sometimes we need to have one discussion more than the other).Nov 7, 2023

this post was inspired by people being weird about mia winters (sometimes people do bad things with good intentions, because they believe what they're doing is justified. but that doesn't make them secretly evil. BUT ALSO SHE ISN;T THIS UWU INNOCENT CINNAMON ROLL EITHER).
