Hashtags really aren't so important to exposure on Artfol - they're more just descriptors if someone's looking for something specific. There's no algorithm, so nothing gets boosted by hashtags; the trending page is just art that's getting a lot of likes and the other tabs are in chronological order. The best way to get "exposure" over here is just interacting with people! Like things, comment, answer questions, give critique and participate in challenges, and follow people you like. It's very community driven.

Hashtags aren't the most important thing to get exposed on Artfol, but you can use hashtags that describe your art and aren't too uncommon

For me, as long as the hashtag is related to the art, it will works. But don't worry you're artwork will be exposed to everyone since Artfol don't use recommendations in order for newer artist to show their skills.
