This is random…

But idk how people can get the courage to tell someone they like them. Cuz if they do like them back then idk yay that’s cool.
But what if they don’t? Won’t it be embarrassing???? What if u ruin a friendship bcz of it????
Like idk I don’t think I would ever be able to actually do it.
Like it’s easy to just think yeah I’ll do it. But actually telling someone is just too much @-@

I just let them tell me so I don’t have to struggle and die of embarrassment and shame even tho they’re probably struggling too but of well lol…one of us gotta do it
flashbacks to that time I lost my mind
yea no this isnt about one of the stuff I said that time right? lol

tbh I think it depends on the person, like if I know that person doesnt handle romance well then I wont be able to tell em properly cuz im scared of ruining stuff between us. If I know that person can be chill with me liking em that way then ig I can tell em

Im not rlly greedy, I wouldn't confess cuz I want something more with them, I don't actually want anything from them. I'd tell it cuz well ig I just wanna express it and let em know, even if it's played off as a joke or something that doesnt matter
I think of it like at least I got it off my chest. I'll never know if they like me back if I don't ask, and they can change their mind

i told my current partner that I liked him in 7th grade and he rejected me. he ended up liking me back in 8th grade, he just didn't wanna date yet
In the very few times I’ve thought I’ve ever felt something for someone, I told them because I didn’t want to be anxious anymore. The last time I was in that situation (which was probably 4 years ago?), I could only take it for 3 days before I had enough.

Both times they were friends; both times there was no interest. I never told them because I wanted the feelings to be returned, so maybe that’s why I was able to tell them in the first place? I mainly told them because communication is important for relationships, including telling them how you feel, even if you’re not 100% sure what the feeling is.

I personally don’t see how it would ruin any friendships, both times the friendships remained unaffected, but maybe I was lucky? Who knows.

I’m asexual, so maybe that’s why I don’t see it like how I think most people do. And if you can’t tell that person verbally, write it down & hand them the note/letter or whatever!
