Which videogame(s) do you think have the best artstyle, or are artistically appealing? Personally I think Little Nightmares 2 is gorgeous towards the end (don't judge I like the color pallette) and I like the artstyle for Brawlhalla as well!Jan 20, 2022

Alice madness returns has some of the best background design I’ve ever seen. So gorgeous I could take hours exploring each area like it’s just so pretty and the little attention to details is so pretttyyy. I also love the style of bloodborne but I am so ass at the game I haven’t gotten past the first area

The Megaman X4 to X6 have some interesting realistic styled backgrounds in the stages, kinda feel eerie and unsetling but are so pretty

•
Donkey Kong Country originals. So gooooooood. I feel like Rare really pushed the SNES boundaries with it.
•
Ori and The Wild at Heart, though The Wild at Heart is kinda unknown at the moment
Very pretty though :D

The 2D sprites from persona 3 and 4 are so stylist and beautiful, The 3D sprites of the shadows too and personas too! They have super imaginative designs!

It would be both of Little Nightsmares and Little Nightmares 2. They both have a nice vibes
•
Little nightmares has a great style, especially the second!
I guess I'll have to go with no man's sky which, yeah, I guess it's supposed to look realistic, but the colors, starship designs and the overall vibes are amazing!! How massive and daunting but also aw inspiring and whimsical it makes everything feel is beautiful!(but it is my favorite game so I may be biased)

Splatoon on Nintendo art style is soooo cute! I also love all the different hairstyle options they have for characters.

People have already said Okami but... Okami my beloved. Made to feel like ukiyo-e and sumi-e art come to life.
Dishonored (2012) is also my beloved. It honestly looks like the digital concept art come to life in places. It's stylised realism in all the right ways. Might feel weird to play in 2022 due to the fact its set during a plague ripping through the poor while the rich party though.
To go back in time, the original spyro trilogy has such lovely colours. The reignited version is also exceptionally beautiful, but there's something about the funky pastels of the ps1 originals that's nostalgic and gorgeous.

Okami is by far the most beautiful game I've played. But I also find the art styles in Paper Mario and Monster Prom to be quite charming!
•
Brawlhalla is a good one! My faves of that game is nix and xull
Games would be dont starve, sunless sea, diner dash are a few

I don't really play videogames but valorant has a really cool style, esp for their promo art.

•Okami, It’s hands down the most unique style I’ve ever seen in a game. It’s so fucking pretty
