my mom used to bug me about it too but I decided I didn't want to be insecure about my hairy legs anymore and when i realized it isn't even for a good reason it's just because she didn't want people to judge me or think I looked "like a man" that's when I decided the reason was bs and I don't care if I look like a man or a woman or whatever I just want to be comfortable with myself. since when did body hair that is natural and grows on most everybody (depends on genetics) suddenly become so pointlessly gendered and something to be ashamed of if you're born female , it's seen as masculine and unkempt and messy. it's all up to personal preference anyways so why do we have to let other people dictate how our bodies should look

Shaving was made up around one of the world wars, I can’t remember which one, and it was used to encourage men to fight harder and come home and to convince women to look nice for their husbands returning from war. <3

I’m so glad my parents don’t really care. I shave them every once in a blue moon and I shave my pits every few weeks because I don’t like the feeling but besides that I cannot be bothered to shave them. If people are gonna be offended by the hair that naturally grows on my legs than that’s a them problem lol.

I used to hate shaving and would get mad when people in my family asked if I needed money to get razors. But after some years, I found out I like to look clean and now I shave more

My family doesn't care about my hairy arms or legs, but they want me to shave my sideburns because it causes acne there (unfortunately. I still grow them out after shaving. I love my sideburns, lol)
