@larikontula's post on Artfol

In ceramics class, a classmate asked if she could buy the piece I was working on before it was even fully finished.

It's a simple piece that spoke to her somehow and it inspired wholesome thoughts and ideas in her. She described that she could write a story looking at it. She was excited about the kinds of shadows it would cast if there was a candle in it.

It meant more to her than it meant to me, as a practice piece, and I agreed to sell.

One of the signs of doing something right is that there are some people who naturally gravitate towards your art. They talk about it, they gather around it, they show interest in it. I've sold art before but never this fast. Hah!

Unexpected.

I'm happy to receive some feedback and guidance and I enjoy getting to make art in the same space as these creative skilled people. It's a fun journey.

That's the best feeling 💚 though, now I'm interested in how it looks 🤔
That sounds wonderful!
