How do I stop my finished digital art being flat and how do I maybe mix opposite colours in procreate? Please help.Sep 28, 2023

I usually view the colors in grascale after laying down the flat colors so that everything wont smudge together in the end,I work in krita but i'm sure theres something similar on procreate,and maybe practice drawing still life in monochromatic colors?
