I’m not traditional by trade but when I do make something on paper, I find it helpful to turn it upside down!

It was seriously funny when we worked with big ass canvases. Just casually walking back and forth half the room to check things. Or standing on chairs to see how stuff looks >w<
Taking a photo and mirroring it or turning it grayscale also helps.
