Wow it looks great! The composition and background especially!
One thing that could be improved I think is the values, overall the drawing's values are kinda samey, it would look so much more dramatic if you made some areas darker and some lighter.
For example darken the background but use the candles' light to add a lot of highlights to the person (since that's the focal point) and don't be afraid to use the full range of values (go near full black to near full white and everything in between).
It's very easy to fix, give it a try! It's a really cool piece! Hope it helps!
