Mind Rewind - Page 1

Today is the day, everyone... I call your attention, cause the first page JUST DROPPED! party noises

I’m so freaking proud of it- it’s one of the most beautiful comic pages I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on... but let’s talk about how it pushes the story forward! :]

This is an introduction to the type of story I wanna tell, as well as the whole aesthetic I’m aiming for this project! I’m super duper curious to hear your thoughts on it, and also managed to recover my excitement to move forward to the other pages! ^^

I did it entirely in IbisPaint, using that lovely bleeding pen, the bucket tool and the anime filter to tie all layers together.

I must say I did struggle with the planning of some panels (heck, I even found myself stumped in the largest one lol), but had a blast stylizing everything and trying my best to capture the blobs of image that my brain had inside!

It was a ton of fun to add all these details and textures, and I’m more than sure your watchful eyes will find some intriguing things to point out... you’re more than free to speculate about them as well lol, just don’t expect spoilers from me >:]

Oh, and I know it does look like there is too much text... but that’s because it’s an introduction, other pages will be lighter on it, mainly because of dialogue :P

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the aesthetic, the colors, the storytelling, and how this first page turned out! Any feedback is greatly appreciated! ️

(Oh, and one more thing: I might update the comic every two or three weeks, since I don’t want it to get in the way of my other works nor become a stressful project. I hope you guys are ok with that :7)
