She ends up meeting Kyomoto shortly after the rift Arc started, when the never seen truant kid suddenly showed up in her class. The latter end up meeting the former after days of staring at her from afar and confronts her about it. Kyomoto tells her that she's a long time fan of hers. Since then the two have collaborated in making manga for the school newspaper. When meeting others from different worlds who share their passion in manga and art they started a small group.Ayumu still does karate in between progressing her art and drawing manga with her friends.
