For this art thingy I wanted to make it monochrome with the main colours being blue and pink but when I got to this stage it just looks really bland
I'm thinking it might be that the colours are too close together in saturation but I'm kinda thinking it is also probably that the composition, background and lighting are quite bland as well
Please give me your advice!

!! I've been doing a ton of critiques today so here I am! I think the problem is that there isn't enough contrast in your piece. Even in the areas that are shaded, it seems like its still very bright. I suggest looking up tutorials on how to light pieces during different times of the day (midday, sunset/sunrise, moonlight, etc). If you want this piece to be monochromed, I suggest using darker pinks for the background and lighter pinks for the character/foreground or vise versa (whatever looks best) because you want to up the contrast between the foreground and background to make sure they don't like merge together. Also I think the cloud could be a bit lighter cause it looks darker than the blue in the sky
I like how you use blue very sparingly because it makes those areas really pop. I do think you could it a bit more in the hair and make it brighter (??? as in make it more blue cause it kinda merges with the pink and the contrast between the two colors its lost if that makes sense??).
I do love a lot of things about this piece like the messy lineart and shading/lighting style, your use of two colors, the pose, the vibe of the piece, etc. Its a good start, but I think a few changes to the colors and contrast will really improve the piece. Hopefully this critique was helpful
