If you had to make a comic/manga what would be the hardest thing to do in your opinion?
For me it's... Everything ;_; The hardest being drawing the same character over and over without it looking differentMar 19, 2021

Everything, I think drawing manga or any type of comic is difficult, couldn't keep it consistent.

Perspective . Back ground. And perspective. After making my first "test comic". The hardest shit was actually perspective. I didn't really think about it. I made that shit on a whim cause I wanted more of my ship out there lmao.
Background would be second place. I PERSONALLY just put colors and plain background which in some cases could work but I'm not even going to lie, sometimes that shit looks ugly or empty.
And I actually have models on hand to reference so consistency isn't a problem for me. (Except remembering colors of speech bubbles, that was embarrassing) But I will say that after working months on said comic, it doesn't match my art style anymore. It's kinda "out dated" if that makes sense.

Actually drawing the thing... i do have a whole story like almost scripted but I avoid drawing it all the time. But really the hardest part is confidence since even though I know Im good at art I regularly forget this fact and think that Im not skilled enough to actually to do it.

I do not struggle with drawing the same character a lot, interestingly. But for me the hardest thing is figuring out panel layouts and making the action flow well. It's really easy to tell an amateur layout from a pro layout, even if the art is really good.

•I think writing a story would be hard for me. I always thought about making a webtoon but I’m not the best writer

Perspective. Because some Perspectives can make that scene more dramatic but if u do it poorly then it just flops. Oh and writing script :D
•
keeping it consistent and interesting,,,, maybe not for an actual book but for something like a webtoon id definitely struggle a little ehe~

Creating and planning the story is easy but fitting the written script into squared are hard, there's always something that doesn't feel like what I wanted

) and then anything beyond the sketch stage
