How do you find motivation to push through harder projects? I haven't felt motivated to work on my comic for a while now and I need some help :')Feb 24, 2023

Think of a specific goal, for example, working on your comic for 15 minutes every day. If you stick to that for a few weeks, it will become a habit (and it would feel weird to stop)
Another thing is having a sort of "ritual" before you start working. For example, before I draw my comic, I like to do some gesture drawing or sketch a fun character (you know, something not frustrating, so that it raises my confidence). That helps put me in the mood, and it's so much easier to work on my comic afterwards.
Aaand finally, if you really aren't in the mood, then make sure to at least do the bare minimum. So let's say you don't feel like drawing for those fifteen minutes. Then draw for one minute. Or make a single panel or a small sketch. Anything, as long as it has to do with your comic, will strengthen the habit of working on it everyday.
Good luck!!

•Going back to my sketches and envisioning them in their finished product/result somehow motivates me uwu

•Maybe you could do small little doodles and slowly work your way up until you've tricked yourself that a full piece is in fact a doodle
