Learning at least a bit about color theory can really help you understand how colors interact and influence each other, and help you have more control over how your color palettes look. But if you're looking for a short cut, you could always just look up color palettes, pick one you like, and color drop/copy the colors.

Learning color theory sounds daunting but if you watch or read some things about it and how to apply it to art, you can pick up a lot of helpful tips and guidelines! For example, learning about warm tones vs cool tones, as well as complementary colors.

Read some tutorials on color theory to start. Try to learn about cold colors, warm colors and complementary colors. Observe nature and other artist's works you think that do a good job with their palettes.

Like others are saying, color palettes can be great! I also like looking in nature for good color combinations!

Use mostly less saturated colors for the base, high-saturated ones tend to clash more, then use contrasting colors for light and shadow. Colors are hard, and I'm not good with them either, but I do know that it takes time and patience to learn to do well

look for inspiration in the color palettes other artists used....especially in movies...there are plenty to find on pinterest or IG...ofc. it is best to learn and practice color theory.

while drawing digitally, if u have a color balance tool, that can help a heap! You can also color pick colors from photos! Tho, neither will do all the lifting! It's best to learn about color theory! I'm still learning too so I'm not a professional!
