The reflection in the first panel shows a lot of emotions and turmoil. With the blood in the water and the rippling it reminds me of the what have I done moment. The second panel with the intense backlighting make them look like an insidious, elite mob. And the last panel looks like the aftermath of a institutionalized cruel act.
