Is anyone else here really fascinated by lost media? If so, what is your favorite piece of lost media? I am absolutely fascinated by certain lost songs like "Johnny" and "Winds of Change". Lost cartoon pilots are my jam too.Dec 18, 2023

I love Ancient Greek literature, but most of it is lost (if I remember correctly today we probably have less than 10% of what existed at the time), and among the works we have, most of them have a lot of holes, errors and missing parts. For example, the Odyssey and Iliad where not the only epic legendary poems, we have found people mentioning a lot more (about the participation of Memnon and Penthesilea in the war of Troy, about what happens in Troy after -spoiler- Achilles dies, about the destruction of Troy, about the journey back home of the Greek army, about the later adventures of Odysseus when he leaves Ithaca again) but we don't have the texts themselves, just a few random verses here and there.

Oh my gosh. The Dora the Explorer pilot is fascinating to me. The origins of the show and what it became is wild. Literally. I also find it wild how the earlier seasons of Doctor Who are missing. Only bits and pieces have been found so far from what I understand.
