A small rant about prices

When someone tells you that you charge too much for your work... Just breathe

Many people can't truly comprehend the amount of time and effort you put into your work. For some reason, art nowadays is often considered as a mere hobby that keeps you entertained in your free time, so how dare you ask money for it?
It's especially noticeable on Instagram, in the comments and in the artists' complaints.

So instead of telling someone "Your work (aka you) is not worth the money you are asking for. I would give it this much and not more", think, how the same words would make you feel about your day job? Somehow, some people don't realize there are living, breathing people behind art accounts and their feelings can get hurt.

Please be respectful to artists, they also have to pay the bills and eat sometimes, and the amount of working hours they put in one piece of their work is not less than one spends in the office.
