Mollymauk blanket wip 2
And here comes the second work in progress ^w^Since I have limited amounts of fabric in weird shapes and not nice bolts of fabric I had to plan what goes where while taking into account how much of everything I have.
So basically spreading all the fabric out on a blanket I used to keep the size consistent then taking photos. And then digitally puzzling it together.
Thank goodness for the undo function of the digital medium =u=
In other words: this is kind of how I hope it will look in the end.
There will be some color variations since I didn’t pay too much mind to the lighting. I only needed the form and pattern as well as the idea of the color for this.
The fabric I'll be using is mostly my old childhood clothes and some cabbage I got from a fried who sows waay more than me (the same who helped me with my machine). So I won’t be able to tell you where to get similar fabric. Sorry.
But using scrap fabric and cobbling it together matches with the cloak I think. That is also why I decided not to search for a similar fabric to the absolutely wonderful blue lining with shiny moons the cloak originally has. (Even though I adore it -)
There will also be pockets.
Why? I have plans my friends, I have plans~
