It’s hard to choose but I gotta go with octoling purely for the fact that I was there for the campaign in splat 1 to give us octolings. I remember trying so hard to replicate the hacks that let you play as the octolings. Unfortunately I was like 12 and didn’t know wtf I was doing

My splatoon character has always been an Octoling. I like their big eyelashes and numerous suction cups

Octolings because they are a lot smarter than Inklings based on lore. And uhhh, Inklings wouldn’t need the Zapfish IF they just learned how to generate electricity from solar panels (TwT)
