I can't wait to improve in art. Not in a self deprecating way, I love my art, I think I'm good at it, it's for the most part usually really fun to do, but considering that I already love my art, I'm just excited to see where it takes me. I can see myself improving every time I draw, and I can see the flaws in my art but that's okay. Nothing is ever gonna be perfect, the only thing I can do is keep drawing. I don't think it's egotistical to say "I'm good at art", you're just appreciating your own talent and anyone who tells you that you're not allowed to bring yourself up because its self absorbed has never given themself the room to be proud of themself, and I feel bad for them.
I'm good at art, but not in the way that I've been doing it for 20 years and am an adult who has possibly been to art school, in the sense that I am a child who has no plans to go to art school, but has an okay grasp on anatomy and how to draw and lighting. Still, I'm so excited to see where I stand artwise 2 years from now. Maybe even a month from now, because it will be better, and it will be different.Jul 1, 2021
