Welcome back to Artfol!
As a warning, we’ve been having a problem with a hate troll on here since November. If you suddenly receive a nasty/offensive comment or see a nasty/offensive text post, or see something about how “dwarves are great & elves suck,” it’s very likely to be “dwarf guy.” These things tend to either come from an account that may have the keywords “dwarf,” “mountain,” or “supremacist” in the username &/or a user who’s profile picture is sometimes art of a bald bearded man (dwarf.) This user has stolen other users’ dwarf art, told people to off themselves, promoted violence against LBGT+ folks, promoted s*xual violence against women, & has repeatedly came into people’s comment sections to harass & bully them. Their last 8 or so accounts have all been banned for their gross behavior.
They still have an account up that’ll likely be made well known soon because they usually start harassing people, so if you’d like to report & block, it’s @/dawiofthemountain & they’ve stolen @/aruart ‘s art. The Art Theft report will ask for a link to the OG artist, so here’s the link! https://artfol.me/aruart Thankfully, they only seem to be active on here like once a week, so it’s not exactly an everyday issue!
If you see one of their posts or they comment on a post, (either yours or someone else’s) DO NOT INTERACT. This user is a troll, & trolls LOVE attention, & they’ve made it clear they come here for attention. Their entire goal is to upset as many people as possible & start fights. Report the user, block the account, & if they commented on one of your posts, delete the comment like nothing happened. The Devs are fully aware of this user, as their last 6 accounts have been banned in about an hour or less! The more reports an account or post gets from multiple users, the higher it goes on the devs’ list to investigate & take proper action! Apparently, they can’t ban their IP address because it’s too expensive.
Despite all of that mess, Artfol has still been fun!
