I think majority of people would very much appreciate the shares even without being asked for permission

Most people do not mind it when other users reshare/retweet/reblog their art!
If youβre trying to share via screenshotting/downloading the artistβs work & posting the art on your account a decent amount of artists will ask you not to repost their art like that.

β’I'm sure nobody here dislikes their art being reshared! It's different from reposting and makes sure more people see your post, so I don't think I'd be a problem for anyone ^^
