I love how the pose and the color of the dress invoke the imagery of a snake without literally having a snake anywhere. The first thought I had when seeing the picture is “This reminds me of one of those snakes(I realized later I was thinking of one of those coral snakes).” I also like how the snake the pattern isn’t just scales or something. It’s an article I could see someone wearing even if they weren’t trying to look like a snake because of the simple and appealing pattern. Overall I like how the picture does a great job symbolizing a lot of snakey features but still somehow being very obvious about it. Also the lighting and shading is amazing and helps print attention to the pose of their body by giving it a clear yet natural natural outline.
