This piece is just crap. Somehow I never had the connection with this one, I reworked the pose many times, the proportions, I didn't really had a plan either and some real life shit also happened that had a negative effect on my art mood and motivation. I heavily overworked it as well, so poor Makali basically got the worst timing to be painted. All in all this was not my best experiences and I wouldn't even upload her, but she is part of the series, so up she goes. God, I am so itching to try to fix her still, but this has to stop, time to move on. I should move on a day ago.Jan 9, 2023#painting

I'm very sorry about the difficulties you've been facing. I saw your art on the explore page and just wanted to say I find this piece very impressive! I've always struggled with anatomy in general. You might see flaws in it but as someone who has never seen this before, all I see is skill!! The movement in the tail and mane, blend of colors, all of it looks stunning enough that I felt the need to click on it and read the caption!!
