When Biz (Life) arrives to Bird city, saying he wants to help the princess with her task, he finds a really unstable Aspen. He’s lost, grieving and trying to figure out a new situation (I don’t want to spoil anything). Life helps him enjoy the little things and take control over his life again.
Without realizing it, Aspen also helps Life greatly. They both find each other in a moment of vulnerability that they learn to navigate thanks to the other. Writing their relationship is tricky but very rewarding.

After months of having this comic page finished I finally found the energy to put everything together and post it. I wanted to fix some details from the writing first and it’s done!
I like imagining little snippets like this one to help me figure things out better. Life really was out there assigning a birdsona to Aspen hahaha
I’d love to hear your opinions on it!

Oh wow this page turned out truly fantastic!! The nightly lighting and shading is so well done and so pleasing to look at. You did such an amazing job on the perspective of the 4th panel as well
and Life's expression at the end there is too good
Great little written scene as well! I love how well Aspens current emotional state comes across ;v; (then also, "Biz was but a black blob at his feet" really made me smile- truly the cat moment of all time :'D)

•AAAAA LOVE BOTH THE COMIC PAGE AND THE LITTLE TEXT!!!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! I waited until I finally has the time to really appreciate it hehe :3 It's so cool to see the written text translated into comic! I could totally visualise the place and Aspen feelings when reading, and I really like the lighting and ambiance of the comic! And their relationship is very interesting tooo
Also Biz stop making the bed dirty nooo.......
If you want a piece of advice for the text (only in your best interest!!!!! I'm not trying to be mean ;w;) you tend to write dialogues how you would write them in Spanish, but in English you have to put them between these " " and without these -
The dialogues tags aren't between " " tho!!
It would make the dialogues easier to read haha
Also in the line "he squinted his eyes" you don't need to repeat "his eyes" because it's already implied in the previous word! Aaand that's it that's what I noticed on my first read! I need to read it again aha
Again no need to even take this advice into account, it's just things I noticed and I'm telling you because I really love your work :3
