Alright, now that that's out of the way. Welcome to minecraft, but you only have two skills!
It's a bad name we know! :D
The whole concept is that you start off with two skills (shocking, I know). More often than not you'll start the game with a partner and you'll be able to teach each other the skills you have over time. Every in game week (2ish irl hours) a new person is sent into the game and you all have to try to survive together by helping and teaching each other.

Now, you might be wondering, what exactly are all the skills?
They're very carefully divided to make sure the players suffer as much as possible!
•°○Skills○°•
Fighting- Allows you to kill any and all mobs (hostile mobs, animals, etc.)
Woodcutting- Allows you to chop down trees.
Building- Allows you to place blocks as well as break ones that have been placed (yes this includes blocks endermen place!)
Crafting- Self explanatory
Mining- Self explanatory
Alchemy- Allows you to do anything potions related, including crafting potion related items
Farming- Self explanatory
Smelting- Smelt ores and cook food! Basically anything to do with a furnace
Swimming- Don't have this skill? Fall in water that's more than one block deep? Sucks to be you, guess you're drowning unless someone can help you!
Redstone- Self explanatory
Fishing- Self explanatory
Enchanting- Self explanatory
And that's all of them! You start off with any two skills and you can learn more as you go and as more people show up. Learning a skill from someone takes 3 in game weeks (or 6ish irl hours) and learning a skill on your own takes double the time.

You may be wondering, what are all the boxes for? While pretty much all of them are easy to understand I'll tell ya anyways to make sure this is through enough!
The big box to the left- That's where your character goes! The game is designed to put your character in the clothes they're most comfortable in so maybe keep that in mind!
Name- That's your characters name, they generally only remember their first name.
Age- Your characters age! They should be around college/uni aged.
Height- Are they tall? Are they short? You tell me!
Base skills- The two skills they started with! (These are always 3 star skills)
Learned skills- The skills they've taught themselves or been taught (these can be anywhere between 1-3 stars. Self taught skills can half half stars.)
Major- what are they majoring in school? This usually has an effect on what they pick for their base skills!
Likes/Dislikes- what they like and what they don't like! At least from what they can remember,,,
Time Spent In Game- The amount of time they've spent in the game, make sure this matches up with learned skills (one star is equivalent to two irl hours learning. For self taught skills one star is four irl hours. For reference, one in game week is about two irl hours.)
