“The Sinner” (2024)All I will ever be is a disloyal sinner. I feel like I’m not as devoted to the Lord as the Bible tells me to be. These faults and guilts tatter away at the wings that shall carry me to God on Judgement Day, and I worry if I’ll even be able to make the destination. I wanted to clearly symbolize the wear and tear on my angel wings with cuts and feathers coming off of them to represent sins and failure. Religion has always been a huge sensitive subject in my life, and ever since I left Catholic school, I’ve been practising less and less. I wonder if I rely on “God’s Grace” more than I should to grant myself into the pearly gates. God never really knew me.May 17, 2025
