I didn't have any clear goal regarding my art when this year started, I only knew I wanted to keep advancing with my art and characters. But I did achieve some things I'm proud of.
I started playing with lighting in my paintings, which was always super subtle because I was scared of it. Now I love it! I also started doing comics! Even if what I've done so far are sketchy and I'm just starting and learning I'm proud of it because I've always felts super scared of comics. And it turns out I love doing them!
I also tried to improve my backgrounds and even if they're still a pain to do, I'm starting to enjoy it.
I also brought back some character designs and they turned into some of the best I've done so far. All the frogs happened because of this! And I love this new kids so much. They've made me try lots of new things with my art and improve.
I've met some awesome artists here and on other social media and I couldn't be more happy about that. You people are amazing
Long story short, this year was garbage in lots of aspects but I'm glad I've been able to take lots of good things out of it too Don't be afraid of trying new things in your art! It's always worthy, even if the first attempts may look like trash. There must be a beginning to achieve an end. And you may discover something you love doing on the way. I'll post some of my old art through the years so you can see improvement is always there with you even if you feel demotivated with your art (which I've felt this year. A lot.)
I hope next year Im not afraid of exploring new things and keep practicing some others. Let's see the improvement next december ~

Woahh that's a lot of improvement! Congratulations! (^o^)/ well for myself, I do improve a tiny bit too ehe, I think I enjoyed drawing without the fear of "not being perfect" anymore

•That's incredible! I do must admit that I kinda improving this year, well unfortunately instagram treat me badly so I had burnout months ago and it was not very fun experience. I decided slowly move to here lol I hope I could make better time management next year

•aaaaaaaaa u achieved so much !!!!! this year i tried out coloring my drawings which i HATED at first but now im starting to enjoy it... also i started doing studies (figure drawing n backgrounds) which was a pain at first bc i didnt know if i could find the time,,, but now i try to draw at least 1 almost every day :) this is also the year i started posting my stuff in social media which got me a little obsessed so next year imma try to change that

•I started experimenting with lighting and backgrounds. At first I hated it but now the lighting is my favourite part of a drawing. My love for art has increased and thanks to it I found my goals in life. This year happened a lot. I also had a toxic relationship that prohibited me from drawing. I realized how much I needed art ,and that wihout it, a pice of me was missing. I've grown and learned a lot. I finally started to find my way in life! I'm proud of my self!

•Omg that is acutally amazig! you have done a great job! I don't know you for that long but your art is amazing! The comics look really profesional too. I going to be honest to you. To me you are like one of those artist that area really really good and inspire me a lot. You alredy got so far with your art!!
