Baking donuts - Advent day 8
The nisse family appears to be really busy with the baking for Christmas. This time they're making some donuts and donut centres - because why not fry the donut centres as well while you're at it (more of a snack that way, no?). Of course the nisse children aren't allowed to do all the frying themselves, but they are helping out with the finished baked goods.It's also worth noting that donuts made for Christmas where I am aren't like the American donuts usually seen on TV and stuff. These are smaller and more dense, though usually also darker as well. I know these are made many other places as well, but are there any local varieties where you are?Dec 10, 2022
