This does happen to Kastanía. James and apple try to bake her something but James burnt pancakes microwaving them and it's banged from the kitchen usually and apple can cook but not bake. It was terrible. Kastanía very much appreciated the effort but ends up baking something herself for them all to have lol

Nariko: She has the advantage of her face not showing any emotion so if she words her sentences right she might just not offend her friend >:)
Allie (blue alien gal): Spits it out. She didn’t mean to hurt you but she couldn’t help it.

Ok so in this situation hunter would promise to make Alex a cake for her birthday. Alex is an excellent baker and makes all kinds of wonderful sweet treats so hunter wanted to do something special for her. Only, hunter can't bake. They can't even make toast very well. They likely mixed the salt and sugar and just,,, it's bad. Real bad.
"Hunter, I love you, but this is the worst cake ever"
"Oh come on, it can't be that bad" takes a bite "oh god that's HORRIBLE. I'm so sorry, I'll make you a new one."
"How about we make it together" (so that hunter can't mess up again)

Tashi eats it all, he doesn't waste food, but oh man, his face shows it all. He'd probably tell them it wasn't the best, but that they should keep trying!
Brynn's face is scurnched in disgust, but he'll eat as much as he can. He will flat out say it "didn't taste great.." but he will tell his friend to just keep at it.
Kou's a master at faking it- he'll say its amazing and his friend will believe him, that's that

Zaire would teach them how to bake. Actually, if the friend becomes good enough at it, she might finally gain an employee to lighten her workload.
Soleil would just say it tastes bad, but not teach them herself. She'd probably recommend them to someone else in her family. Or to Zaire, who knows.

Michael would probably just tell them it's bad. They're always brutally honest with eachother, and I don't think this would be an exception (They'll still be friends, but they might pretend to fight about it first haha)

My oc Jehanne would probably laugh and say thanks for the gesture but outright say that it tastes absolutely horrible. But only because she knows it wouldn’t really hurt their feelings, they’d just laugh about it together.

Jac would ask for milk to accompany the cake so it doesn’t dry her mouth, but in reality, the milk is just so the slice goes down faster and so it can try to also hide the flavor.
Ashton would say that it’s good but they need more practice, they would offer a helping hand next time since they like to cook and bake
Amber would swallow the bite she took but proceed to say that they should taste it bc they definitely missed a few steps and ingredients in the 4 step recipe, but that they could ask Ashton for tips

I’m not sure if vlad can actually taste things or not so he’d probably pretend to like it so he doesn’t hurt their feelings.

•Moonlight Blue Archangel - eats the cake, and compliments it. She has been put down her entire life, so she doesn't want anyone else to feel the way she does. They bake her the cake again. It's a never ending cycle. Oh no.
Laran Aizen - most people in the Black order suck at cooking and baking. Herself included. She would, of course, thank whoever made the cake, but would tell her honest opinion on it, very politely. She will then offer her weird alien family member to try and bake together. It's a disaster.

I can imagine that this time is Without Name who made the cake.
Neron and Lender would straight up eat it all, they'll do everything for Without Name and they know that he isn't living really good days. So, while Without Name is happy, they'll do anything.
Exton wouldn't even try it, would throw it to the floor and for the end he would insult and yell to Without Name.
